Arbor Day 2017
In celebration of Arbor Day, our team at The Morton Arboretum designed a pop-up event in Daley Plaza to 'Draw Attention to Trees'. Our event featured a four-sided coloring wall with illustrations to highlight trees and their many benefits, the pop-up Plant Clinic, a tent with giveaways and games, and more.

Store Shopping Bags
An update of the Arboretum Store shopping bags incorporated the refreshed 'The Champion of Trees' brand. The leaf illustrations that make up the pattern were created to represent Illinois native trees, assuring that all depicted are non-invasive species. This design was applied to gusseted and flat bags.
The Forever Waltz
The Forever Waltz is a play that centers around the main character searching for his deceased love in a purgatory world that resembles a dark, foggy shore town. The lighthouse is a symbol of hope and also the place in which the main character finally lets go of his lost love.
Pollyanna Brewing Company
Beer label designed and illustrated for Pollyanna's special release Movembeer Double Oatmeal Stout in collaboration with Imperial Oak Brewing.
In April 2015, The Morton Arboretum launched an updated brand with the tagline 'The Champion of Trees'. As the champion of trees, the Arboretum is committed to scientifically informed action, both locally and globally. With that in mind, all Arboretum stationary was redesigned to reflect the new brand and the established mission. The illustrations are of white oaks – the tree represented in the Arboretum logo.
The Heartland Classic
The Heartland Classic is an annual marching band competition, hosted on the campus of varying Midwestern colleges. The event showcases the talent of collegiate marching bands as they compete in field show competition, judged by some of the most respected names in the region. The 2013 season is hosted at University of Wisconsin - Madison.
Redbird Safe Ride
The Redbird Safe Ride maps combines the three late-night bus routes into one diagram. Along the routes are notable buildings on campus that would be familiar to the students riding the bus as well as labels at every stop.

Forget Me Knot
Forget Me Knot includes a set of color coordinated, ribbon-rings that come from the idea of tying a ribbon around your finger as a reminder for a variety of things. This idea came from an assignment to create a product and packaging for a mundane object.

The Career Center serves Illinois State University students and alumni, assisting them in a variety of ways with their career and graduate school needs. As the graphic designer in the marketing department, I designed a variety of materials for both student and employer relations. This included posters, postcards, web banners/icons, informational handouts, Powerpoint graphics, fair booklets, and more. It was also my job to help develop and implement the Career Center's new brand into all materials.
Angels in America
Angels in America Part II: Perestroika is the second part of a two-part play. Perestroika focuses on the rebuilding of 1980s New York after having been destroyed literally and figuratively by a single angel. There are many conflicts and characters within this single play, all of which have resulted in the city being destroyed.
The Highland Games
The Highland Games card deck came from a cultural assignment focusing on Scotland. The deck takes inspiration from Scottish culture and traditions in the Highland games, incorporating the activities into the imagery. It's a dose of culture in a pass time activity.
